Before
The picture with the pink and green tile was the existing tile in a 1920’s brick home that we bought in Heber City, Utah. Needless to say, this bathroom needed a major upgrade. It was important to me to keep the character and style of the bathroom to the period of the house. We took the bathroom down to the studs and worked on plumbing and electrical, to make sure those systems were upgraded properly. We tiled the coved area with a mini white, puffed subway tile in a herringbone pattern, and did the rest of the walls in the larger rectangular puffed subway white tile. We kept the original tile floor, added a clawfoot tub with black tile underneath, new vanity and lighting. The result is really outstanding while maintaining all the original charm!
